Just about to leave for the airport to fly to Denver (and then on to Colorado Springs) for cousin Lorelei's wedding. I had figured I could catch up on sleep on the plane because the marine layer of clouds over L.A. would take away anything to see.

Wrong. High winds have come in over the last couple of hours and it's clear as a bell now. Should be plenty to see. Ah well!
