After stopping at a shop for sandwiches, we took a drive up CA 1. We decided to stop and have lunch here.

Quite a view, eh?

We ate at the top of the hill here, but saw that one could walk through the brush toward that rock island thing.

Cecilia had just made a couple of CDs for me of canonical chamber music. We "blasted" that from my car as we ate.

Hey! What are you doing taking my picture?! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?!

Quite a maze of small trails here, mostly hidden from view when you're standing at the top.

Of course, the seals like the rocks as well.

That slightly slimy thing in the middle of the rock is a seal.

Check out the "mushroom cloud" that's beginning to form as the light is reflected off the clouds.
