Walking along the hideous green tile of level 4 (Goofy) of the massive Disneyland parking structure. Upon leaving the California Adventure park I realized that that entire park was built on the site of the old Disneyland parking lot. The new structure is amazing though, and I'm not sure why I'm telling you all this...

Our first stop was A Bug's Land featuring amusements of all sorts based on the popular Disney/Pixar film of the related name. Mostly low-key stuff except (big exception here) for the 3-D show. While cool and neat and 3-D, it was actually pretty unnerving in a few spots!

This is part of the Condor Flats area, meant to recreate the history of California as a testing ground for airplane and rocketry design. The "smoke" here is actually water vapor, and is very welcome...in July.

Steph, Claire, and Robert walking on the ropes. Lots of rope walks in this section of the park. Based on the Brother Bear movie, this area of the park is almost like a playground. It's also got a lot of educational interactivity built in.
